I'm planning to immigrate to canada permanently but since Im a student here so the only way I see is through student visa..
As per my info we can get a work permit after completion of the chosen course but I want to know the next process..
What happens after getting a work visa? How are the chances to get PR? Is there any difficulty or restrictions with certain nationalities?

Your wife can apply for an open work permit along with your study permit - however there is no guarantee it will be approved.

You'll need to dedicate time to researching Canada's immigration programs to understand what it takes to applying. Studying and working in Canada doesn't guarantee PR. You should take a program that is at least 2 years in length since this will get you a three year work permit once you finish and give you the most chance of qualifying for PR. I would recommend you start by researching the Express Entry immigration program to see what it takes to qualify and apply. Right now you need around 440 points to be selected.
