Moving to another Province while CSQ is in process

Hi all,

I have a question. I applied through Mon Projet 5 weeks ago as I am master's student in Montreal. But I got a better offer from Ontario and want to move there for two years to do another master's degree. Do you guys think that mean my CSQ application will be rejected?

if you are claiming points for your quebeq education they yeah for sure you have to stay in the province...otherwise they will reject your file..

No, I am not claiming any point from my unfinished Master's education in QC. The points that I will get from my education comes from my bachelor's degree.

so you will have to apply under categorg which contains that quota system....you cant apply under as you r staying in quebec.

There is no problem for moving to other province, in our whatsaap experts are there they are from Montreal,they saying that moving to other province is not a issue, my friend they recently moved to to other province ,

The truth is that I really want to get back to Montreal after my studies in York, and I didn't want to move in the first place, but needed the money and also it was a good opportunity.

In my opinion if you move before approval of your CSQ or PR it would be considered misrepresentation as it will be impossible to prove that you had real intentions to stay in Quebec. It is a well known fact that admission to a college or university does not happen in a day. It is a planned activity.

"Intent to Stay" misrepresentation will kick in , if at all , only after PR is received and then applicant decides to leave Quebec . No impact on CSQ application as long as facts mentioned in the CSQ application were correct at time of submission.

I moved out of Quebec to USA 45 days after submitting my CSQ application as "Quebec Resident" due to employment reasons and I am 100% confident that I will get my CSQ since all the facts mentioned in the application were correct at the time of submission.

When there is a change in any details that is mentioned in application the applicant is expected to inform MIDI about those changes. In OP's case it will be change of address to Ontario and no more resident of Quebec. Let us see if OP intends to inform MIDI and also how MIDI takes that information into account.

And, correct information provided at the time of submission is not enough. For example, an applicant fills the form that s/he was never convicted of any crime. This was true at the time of application submission. But, later the applicant commits a crime and is charged and convicted but did not update the immigration authorities it is still considered misrepresentation as the applicant failed to update the immigration authorities about this issue. This is just an example. Important point is immigration laws can be applied retroactively.

I called MIDI and told agent that I have moved out of quebec and wish to update my address in the file. She told me to wait till Mon Project applicants get privileges to update file by themselves. I asked her if I can send a mail to MIDI with proof of my new address and she asked me to wait till MIDI sends request for documents.

Still , I am planning to send following form to MIDI along with proof of address
