Hey everyone! My husband, son and I are moving to Canada in april/may. The easiest way for us to get our stuff across the border is to have my husband drive up with his dad and his mom would fly with me and my 2 year old...has anyone come across this situation? Is it ok to land without the person sponsoring them present? We can schedule it to where he crosses and then the three of us fly, but want to know what the logistics would be about that...
any advice would be appreciated!

The sponsor does not have to be with him to land . Its quite common for a applicant to land without their sponsor.

It may be better if you land first, provide a list of your "goods to follow" when landing, and provide the related paperwork to your husband. This way he would have less trouble with customs when bringing all your things across the border.
