I'm considering a job in Canada which would entail a move for my whole family. Where can I learn about the details of such a transition? Like, tax changes, citizenship, transfer of firearms, school credit transfers, etc.

I know of no single website that gives you complete information about everything. You just have to google it. Are you in the US? Me and somebody else on here who is in the US were comparing tax rates and found out that our deductions were actually pretty similar. I make pretty well average money and my total deductions are somewhere in the high 20's percent which includes my supplemental health insurance partly paid for by my employer. To get Canadian citizenship, you first have to gain permanent residency, after that you need to live in Canada for 2-3 years and then you can apply for citizenship which takes about a year to process.
