I applied for my mother visit visa and it got refused with below reasons:
Financial
Travel history
I applied 1 year back and i didnot meet minimum income requirement. My mother is housewife and she doesnt have property or savings in her name. She has traveled regionally outside home country but not Europe or US.

Please advice if i should reapply as i meet minimum income requirement now and what supporting documents to provide to avoid 2nd refusal. I am very scared if she gets second refusal.
Thank you

How long was the visit for? What evidence did she provide to show proof of ties to her home country?

i applied for 6 months and as i mentioned she doesnt have property in her name, so nothing as such ties to her home country.

Six months is far too long for someone without ties to their home country or strong travel history. You should try for 2-3 weeks this time.

Are chances slim for approval if visa is refused for first time ?

Chances become smaller with each subsequent refusal, but the chances become even smaller if you don't provide new documentation to overcome the refusal reasons and instead, just submitting the same docs over and over.

hello ,

I don't know if you could help me with this :
why the chance to be granted a visa become smaller at each refusal? Didn't they take into account every application regardless of your previous denial?

If an applicant keeps reapplying after each VISA refusal, this will prove to IRCC that the applicant is desperate to enter Canada and suspect that this applicant will overstay in Canada instead of going back to their home country.
