Actually maybe it feels a little different as our whole relationship was built in Russia, so it's been very exciting to show her around and now making good positive steps for our future lives.

We got the visa, I managed to get trough to the visa office, and explained our problem. The office manager was very helpful and issued the visa, we are picking the visa up on Monday . We got already a conformation by e mail, and their even gone wait for the our man if he would be late. Thanks everyone for your support .

So CPC sent my application back to me, and 5 days later Canada Post went on strike! My entire application is stuck in the mail somewhere. This is so frustrating!

New to this forum. Just wanted to give some updates for all, to keep the info flowing. Especially for those with TRV issues. I'm a Canadian citizen living in Moscow with my wife who's a Kazakh citizen. My wife visited me in Canada before we got married on my invitation and TRV she got in Moscow. After that we got married, and I tried to get her another TRV for a visit. Got refused. Ordered CAIPS, saw among other things, that since we're married I can sponsor her, dual intent etc etc. That was last Feb. Fine. We applied for Sponsorship mid Nov 2010. Got Sponsorship approved on Dec 17, 2010. Got AOR on 15 February 2011. The ecas now says:
We received your application for permanent residence on December 29, 2010.
Medical results have been received.

Well, we're planning a trip to Canada now, so we're trying to get another TRV. I actually attached a copy of the CAIPS to the application and tried to address every concern the officer had before. Applied last tuesday, waiting to hear anything on the TRV at least. Will update once we get something.

Hi paul911, we had a similar situation appliying for TRV in a country of temporary residence for both - got TRV when our application was already in process in CIC - we presented a lot of proof that we needed trv to facilitate travels to Canada by providing booking record of return tickets for both, insurance, joined bank account statement, copy of work mobility assignment - in order to prove that we won't jeopardize trv rules and won't overstay. according to caips notes - it was enough.
you can also try to apply again proving copy of your assignment/your job agreement so it's clear that you will return to Moscow. hope this helps

Hello Guys, I can not access E-Cas with the file number they(Visa Office) have provided my wife and they do not reply my e-mails. Any suggestions what to do???

Yahoo! Documents are safe and sound! Apparently one of the letters from a family member wasn't signed, so they sent everything back. Easy to take care of and I'm sending everything FedEx or UPS with this damn postal strike.

I think you can try your client ID# and you can access the info same as entering file no.

for the file # - try to contact them or request caips notes - there will be file no. listed.

Okay thank you Jianadaren. I appreciate it. I heard that requesting CAIPS notes delay the process, is it true?
