Hello guys,

I had this question bothering me ever. What would be the case if there are more number of applicants in the pool with same CRS score as the cut off score but the ITA's are limited.
For example: If the CRS cut off is 440 with the federal having 3000 ITA's to issue.
What would be the case if there are 3500 candidates with same CRS score of 440. Who would get the ITA's and on what basis this is decided. Could any one please explain what happens in this case.

Regards,
Raj

There is a tie-breaker rule in force for such situations. IRCC determines a cut-off date for same CRS candidates. Those falling within that date are invited and the others not.

Thanks for the reply, as the application stays in the pool for only one year will the date that would be decided will be with in 1year from the current days date.
