I dont think its in order cos you are expected to live where your sponsor resides.

Please confirm widely before you submit!

This is one misconception MPNP has not cleared. They asked if you have someone in Manitoba. But when you choose a different city from thewhere your sponsor is, they will deny you. I have asked this question directly in their office.

Chances are good that you would be selected, welders are a highly desired for the program.

I applied for the third time to Morden and till now waiting for a reply. Those who applied with me on this forum have already got rejection emails last week. Should I be hopeful?

You must be really stressed, when did they say you would hear by?

Yes, I am. They asked me to wait until 1 August but people applied after or before me have already received rejection that's why I a concerned....

They are usually pretty good at letting you know the result you should know by the end of the week.
Hopefully they are holding back on letting you know because they are going to tell all of the successful applicants at the same time.

It's 1 August and I am yet to hear any news about my application
I doubt if they do their job on weekends. Do they?
And is it possible if they would reply me after the weekend?

It's unusual not to hear, I don't think they work weekends. I imagine you will hear on Monday or tuesday, if not it might be worth sending them an email.

They do take other professions that aren't on the list but I think your chances of success would not be as good.
No harm in trying.
