Hi folks,

Am thinking to settle down in one of those cities. I want to have your view regarding the climatic conditions.

thx

Vancouver is the warmest.

But if you like snow (I mean lots of snow) in Toronto and Montreal, why not adding Calgary to your list?

Unless you love cold and snow, Vancouver. Theres a LOT more to choosing a city than climate though. Vancouver has a brutal job market right now.

Coming to Canada for the weather should not be on the Top 10 list... ;)

We returned to Canada (Vancouver) mainly because of the weather. Weather-wise was in our top 10 list :D

If you speak good french than Montreal is an option. If not, you might face a very hard time there. Vancouver is probably the nicest place to settle down but also the most challenging - very expensive and comparably low salaries (IF you find a job at all!). This pretty much leaves you with Toronto, I guess. However, I'm not sure why you limit yourself down to these three places only. Or did you just google for Canada's largest cities?

I confirm, the winter in Vancouver is less cold than Toronto or Montreal. But with good clothes, you can appreciate the winter even when it's -20 C. During the summer, I have the impression it's warmer in Montreal but maybe with more storms. As said the others, there are so many factors to motive you to move in an other province.

montreal if you know french ,
i'd say Vancouver , Because BC is the place to be LOL..
Both cities are expensive but suburbs are ok..
You can find jobs in both cities but the real question is What kind of job would be looking for ?
That will determine which city is best for you..

I like Toronto. because i did go Toronto and i know Toronto is then best choice for me. Because Toronto's crime rate is very low. and climate is also good. So i like Toronto from others..

Montreal- Very Cold, Racist dogs, bad job market

Toronto- Very Cold, high living cost, bad job market

Vancouver- Warm weather, high living cost, bad job market

I think you want to know here about Montreal, Toronto, And Vancouver situation. All are good. But i will recommended you about Toronto city. because i think Toronto is better for all. Here communication and education, Environment is good and crime rate is is also low.. I see Here about Toronto situation and statistics..

Toronto is also a nice area than others..

Climate, Toronto and Montreal are basically the same. You only need to worry about winter though, as spring/summer/fall are VERY nice. Especially spring! As for Winter, if you watch "Game of Thrones," think "Castle Black."

I live in Toronto and I've been to Montreal last week. It's VERY nice there. Food is 10,000% better. Even McDonald's tastes better in Montreal. However, French IS their first language. I also encountered 1 woman who can't speak English at all. So keep that in mind. I myself want to live in Montreal but I do not speak French. Things are also slightly cheaper in Montreal. Parking is MUCH cheaper. I heard rent is also cheaper. The city is much much more beautiful than Toronto. I did not encounter any racists or rude people there. In fact, they were very friendly.

Toronto is a much, much bigger city though. Perhaps even if you combine Montreal and Vancouver, the GTA, as a metropolis, is huge.
