Hi @cansha, my spouse and I got our PPR on Feb 4th and sent our passports. Our medicals expire in April so I am guessing we will have to land before that. Currently, we are in the US and I am on my H1-B visa. My husband is on F1 and is on CPT. His F1 stamp expired in December. Is there any chance for him to come back to the US after landing? So that we can settle a few things here.

Our other options are:
1. Book a visa appointment with the US Embassy and try to extend his F1 based on his I-20
2. Book an appointment for a visitor visa/ H4 visa.

However, I was reading about AVR in this group. So I was wondering if that is a possibility for us.

Expired visa stamp doesn't matter if the visa was extended. I'm not aware of F1 visa and documents. But for H1B one would need a valid I797 to enter USA. I believe I-20 is the F1 equivalent of that so you should be good. Here is the US government link for F1 visa AVR https://www.ice.gov/sevis/travel#_Toc81222015
