I got PPR on August 2nd, 2019!

Timeline and everything is here:

IELTS: Overall: 8.5; Speaking 8, Listening 9, Writing - 8, Reading - 9
ECA: Master's degree
CRS: 456
Nationality: Russian
Country of Residence: USA
FSW-O
PA + 4 non-accompanying dependents
Visa Office: Montreal

AOR: November 11th, 2018
MEP & BIL: December 12th, 2018
Eligibility not started till May 5th, 2019
Eligibility - Review Required: May 5th, 2019 - 2 Visa refusals to the US
Eligibility - Passed: July 12th, 2019
Security - Started: ~ July 12-15th, 2019
ADR - Spouse's old divorce certificate and Schedule A: July 15th, 2019
Security - Passed: July 22nd, 2019
PPR: August 2nd, 2019

Congrats Buddy, What is your COPR Visa end date? have they asked you for remedicals ?

This is par for the course in Montreal. Their average processing time is 7/8 months and sometimes more depending on when your file was transferred to Montreal. There would be many in same boat as you. Just that this thread has gone quiet in recent times.

7 OR 8 months for CEC inland application as well? immitracker is showing approx. 140 days average.

6. CRS: 483 (During eligibility phase CRS was downgraded to 458 but we were still able to qualify)

High-Level Timeline

• Oct 7: AOR
• Nov 7: Medical Pass
• Mar 7: Request for Passport Scans of First Applicant
• July 6: IP2/Background Check
• July 12: Case Transferred to CPC-Ottawa
• July 15: PPR
• July 16: Sent passports, photos, completed forms etc. via FedEX
• July 18: Received by CPC Ottawa
• Aug 1: Case Approved
• Aug 3: Counterfoil (Visa Sticker Printed on Passports) [Called IRCC Helpline and got confirmation]
• Aug 6: Received COPR & Passports

Timeline of Enquiries/Actions Made/Taken by Applicants

• Jan 31: 1st Order of GCMS Notes received
  • Status = Review Required was noted by Analyst on Nov 5, 2018
    • reason noted by analyst was - 'not provided Police Certificate for first Applicant.' This was requested even though 1st applicant had never visited India for a cumulative of 6 months in the past 10 years)
  • Resolution: Obtained Police Certificate and submitted it along with cover letter explaining why we did not submit the PC.
• Mar 8: 2nd Order of GCMS Notes received
• May 9: 3rd Order of GCMS Notes received
  • Status: Review Required noted by Analyst.
    • Analyst made notes that one of the job experience letters provided did not have requisite details for the analyst to confirm the job code. I had raised a CSE since the letter had all the details as per their instructions. Honestly till date I haven't figured out what else was the analyst looking for.
    • I raised numerous CSE's but got frustratingly scripted responses.
    • Eventually, our score was cut down to 458 from 483
  • Resolution: We did not choose to resolve this since we calculated that even after our CRS got cut we were still eligible. (I know.. risky, but we chose to not resolve it)
• June 1: 1st Order of CBSA Notes received
• July 10: 4th Order of GCMS Notes received

Folks - I have a question after going through my COPR letter and my Visa Stamp.

My medicals were done on Sept 14 2018... which theoretically means I would have to land in Canada before September 14 2019.

But while reading my COPR, under the Medical Details section, it says that its valid till 2020/07/10.
Incidentally, this is also the validity date on my Visa.

Question: Does this mean that I can enter Canada before next year 2020/07/10? Or should I not wait until then and enter Canada before Sept 14 2019

Seems like they extended your medicals by a year. You can enter any day before the date mentioned on the visa.

Montreal is not very kind on inland applications for some reason. Not sure if it has changed but few months back wait time on inland applications was more than FSW Outland.
