Mistake on birth certificate translation

Hi, today I finally got my translations and everything seemed fine till I noticed a mistake on my father's second name and my mother's last name. To be fair it wasn't the translator fault as the handwriting in my birth certificate is... bad.

Should I have them fixed by the translator? As my parents names appear in other forms correctly spelled. It just took a bit to get them and is the only thing that we were missing to send my application :(

Yes, I would definitely have it corrected to avoid any confussions after.

I ran into something similar. Called IRCC they recommended changing the documents before submission. It delayed the application , but, moving forward with inaccuracies on the identity documents could potentially delay things even more .

Yeah, I messaged the translator and they'll fix it, was just so excited to have everything ready and that was disappointing. I hope I can send my application soon, thanks for replying
