This sounds ridiculous I know.

But i made a mistake, I applied for my BOWP while filing my name i filled my first name in the last name column and last name in the first name column,

this totally idiotic, but I realized right after i applied.

Is there any way i can correct this?

Do you know if I can contact cic with my application number and correct the mistake?

Regards

Call the CIC service number (after listening to all the automated options, press 0 and you'll be directed to an agent). I'm not sure if they are able to correct the mistake, but at least they should be able to tell you if it's going to be a fatal mistake or not. Worst case scenario, you can ask them to withdraw the application - that way you can submit a new application and get a refund for the first one. (You don't have to wait for the official withdrawing confirmation, you can resubmit right away.)

Did you applied for closed permit at the end or for open one?
