Hi all,

Quick question,
I am an outland September 2017 applicant, neither me nor my lawyer received the file transfer email yet! Does that mean that my application could be dealt in CPCM?

Yes it's possible, but the only way to know for sure is to order your GCMS notes, you'll be able to see if the application has been transferred in your notes.

When I checked ECAS, the status was changed to Decision Made, then I clicked the DM, it said "We started processing your application on April 27th." Then I checked the GCKey, it still says "We are processing your application"and "Your application is in progress."

Anyone has had this mismatch before?

FYI: my application was received on Nov 16.

Watch your email for the passport request. The GCKey will be updated when the CoPR is issued.

I'm a Dec applicant with my case being processed in Mississauga and have a quick q.

On GCkey my status is 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information' which is obviously good but on ECAS (under Permanent Residence Application Status) is still just says 'application received'. is this common?

GCkey changed to 'we are processing' on April 6th and my case is straightforward (i had lived in the states years ago and supplied a police check the day they asked for it and no correspondence since). I'm starting to think I maybe uploaded the FBI check wrong as it all seems pretty quiet?!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi there!

I just got DM on ECAS yesterday. But my ECAS status was "application received" until it changed directly to "DM" even tho GCKey said "in process." So it's fine!
