Yes , in the same day onthe Testing , I got oath cermony invitation letter .

So Superb,

During the 3 years of recording resident , only 15 days also , I have been the outside ,

-Type of question: was very easy to answer , but all applicants must read carefully & deeply , I mean that you have to know general information about Geography ,politics, economy of canada also body of governor .

some dates is important to keep in your mind ,generally this dates are public holidays or some important events in Canada history.
-Work Specification questioned: About the timing start , title , ...Dont worry about working or not ,,,,Any Gap is important for the Canadian officers .

cool. How long did you study for the exam? I've been reading the study guide for the past few days. I've gone through it twice but there is so much information in there that I am struggling with some of the names of historical people and some dates. My exam is in a week and a half so I'm nervous!

You are in squized time ,

Keeping Calm ,Now start to do the test ,after each test : take a note for any wrong answers and check it yours after couple days for the same questions.

Be careful for stopwatch and counting your time

Gotta focus on this test. Hopefully that is it. Worried about getting an RQ because of all my many visits to the US (business and family visits). But got to put that out of my mind. If it happens, it happens.

Just finished my test ...now waiting for my turn at interview guys.....test is damn easyyyyyy....even a 10 year old kid can clear that.....some questions were true and false too.....

Hi all,

Here's my timeline for the Mississauga office to contribute to the thread:


We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 13, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 13, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Wife got RQ in July 2012 (not me). We sent all docs within 30 days.

We started processing your application on August 15, 2012.

We sent you a notice on October 25, 2013 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 8, 2013 at 8:00 AM.

We got test results about an hour later and had an interview. We got the oath letter about 30 minutes later for November 18th.

It was a large ceremony with 145 new Canadian citizens.

Interview was hardly 5 minutes...checked stamps and ask about work history....that's all....got the oath letter 30 minutes later for next week.....
