Interview was hardly 5 minutes...checked stamps and ask about work history....that's all....got the oath letter 30 minutes later for next week.....
SWEET! Congrats!

I seriously doubt my interview will be 5 minutes. I have tons of stamps in my passport because of all the travel. But glad to hear yours was short and sweet.

I got my test invitation last week for next week test. However, the letter was not asking for any documents other than what was initially required in support of the application such as; photocopies of passport, IDs provided with the application "basically what was in the document checklist".

Did they ask you for anything more than that to bring ?

Its preety much what they ask from keesio.
i am very confused about how they will check entries.i noticed when ever i entered from usa to canada they only ask for my PR card never stamped.
only time my passport was stamped when i came through air canada.
last week when i came from houston no stamp you just scan your PR card and go.
Any advice?

That is why they interview you. Since they don't have all the records at their disposal, they can only go by your word. If they have any reason to suspect something is wrong during the interview, then they may ask for more evidence of your trips. I assume that a bad interview is what can lead to the dreaded RQ. And I guess they can also take the time to try to get all your records from CBSA and maybe even contact US officials (I'm sure they can share info if needed). So it is important to be able to provide that you have been in Canada most of the time and stuff like proving you have a full-time job in Canada is one way I've been told.

It's not mandatory. If you haven't traveled a lot, then it is probably ok.

For me, I have done a LOT of travel. So they will give me a harder time. I am bringing as much proof as I can. T4's. NOA's, I'm even bring a letter from my employer signed by the human resources department that I have been a full time employee at my job in Canada for over 6 years, and invitation letters to speak at conferences, proving that some of my travel is on behalf of my Canadian employer.

Basically I'm bringing EVERYTHING and ANYTHING I feel can help.

How's one expected to recollect employers' phone numbers for the last 4 years at interview? CIC doesn't ask to bring employment documents to a test. On the other hand, all employment history is in application form on file already.
