Mississauga Office Updates

Hello All

I am starting this thread specifically for updates on applications being processed at the Mississauga office.

I personally applied in Dec 2016 and the application is in process since late Jan.

Please share your timelines / experiences so we can all get some insight into what is, otherwise, a 'dark art' of application processing being practiced by the officers at the Mississauga CIC office

application delivered: Jan 23
AOR: Jan 31
In process: Feb 6
test invite: Mar 16
test: Apr 12

I applied in Mississauga office too:

App Sent: March 1st
App Rec'd: March 3rd
AOR: March 15th
In Process: Still Waiting

Do all applications from residence of GTA goes to Mississauga for processing?
I live in Richmond Hill.
It is now 11 days since my AOR and I am still waiting for IP. This process takes 4 days on average for applicants of Feb.

I don't think all applications in GTA goes to Mississauga office. I'm waiting too for eCas to change to In Process. Though on average it is 4 days to change from AOR to IP, in some cases it may be 18-20 days or more. It's just a waiting game!

i live near york university , Keele campus. My file is in process @ Mississauga office .

IP- feb 2

still no test invite.. seems like this office is very slow.. who applied later got DM ..while I am waiting for test invite..

I live in Downtown TO , but my test office was Mississauga . Dont know why . I did my test on 6th March but nothing happened since.

I believe Mississauga Office is slow to send the Citizenship letters.

I called CIC 2 weeks ago, the rep. told me that file has been moved to Mississauga office and you will get the citizenship test date in a week or so. but I haven't seen anything yet.

I am going to call them tomorrow and ask whats the status on the application. On my ECAS, i still see 3 lines since Mar 02, 2017.

Thank you all for the updates. The office does seem to be inordinately slow!

Do not worry you will get it,

I waited for two month + to get letter, even though the officer said that you should expect the letter from 2 to 3 weeks.

The Office is busy you can tell from the busy April ceremony schedule.

Mississauga is really slow in processing, from the spreadsheet it seems most of the applicants from January are still stuck with In Process. Compared to other offices this office is slow in every part of the processing.

we cant do much.. people who applied after me are in DM status.. its very hard to digest.

Can anybody please advise how long does it take to get test date after applying for citizenship.We applied in November. Application was received on 2nd December. Work started on 22nd December. Still in progress. Appreciate a response.
