Missing information!! please help

My boyfriend and I sent in our application for his permanant residency in Canada (with myself as the sponsor).on the 25th June. We are not yet in the system but still waiting in the queue.

We realised the week when it came in the mail, that we forgot to include his police certificate from Australia. He is a UK citizen but spend over 6 months in Australia ( we included his UK police certificate).

We want to link up the Australian Police Certificate with our application package... has any one gone through this before? What is the best thing to do? Should we wait to send it until we are on the system on should we send it now with the reference number from our reciept and hope the two file meet up.

Would love anyone's advise. We want to call immigration to get advise but we are both outside of north america (in the UK) and the 1 888... number doesn't work.

Dial 613-944-4000, press 1 for English, then 2 for immigration. You'll be connected to CIC for immigration and citizenship

You can use all your personal details such as sponsor details, applicant details with the PCC or you can hold out for client ID#. Is this for inland or outland.. if it's outland it will be sent to the UK so you would probably be best to send it there. Call them to see what you can do.

where do they usually check the application for completeness - in Mississauga or in the outland Visa Office?

if we have some update to immigration forms - shall we send it now, or later, after Mississauga approves the 1st stage?

please do advise

Completeness is on both sides.. also if you have just updates I wouldnt send them until you receive a file number from your visa processing office.

I'm sure they check to see it's there but they dont go through the bonafides of marriage in mississauga.
