I sent in an FBI channeler report, instead of the regular one from the FBI, so they've asked me to get the real one from the FBI.

I've done that, and I am now waiting to get it back from the FBI. Is there any benefit/harm if I respond to the email with any documentation that I am now awaiting to get the proper paperwork back? Both my wife and I are concerned about the turn around time, since we only have 60 days to get proof to them.

Thanks for your feedback.

The last time I checked, the FBI PCC processing time (on the FBI website) showed a 28 calendar day processing time. You should easily meet the 60 day time frame that CIC has imposed, but it couldn't hurt to respond to their email.

Right,

I just didn't want there to be a mixup, or a problem because I responded to the email with what they did not want.
Just overly concerned since this is hopefully towards the end of our year long road to getting stuff in order and me getting into the country :/

CIC is ridiculous, why haven't they updated the FBI check webpage to indicate that channelers are not allowed? The only reason I knew you couldn't use channelers was because of this forum :D

We only found out because they told us. My wife said that it was moderately clear on the paperwork, but not the website.
