Just noticed that there is an update in the ministerial instructions

"As of May 30, 2015, all valid Canadian work experience will be recognized under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of Express Entry as CIC is removing the requirement that Canadian work experience be continuous. As a result, foreign nationals with Canadian work experience could see an increase in their CRS point

That's cool, but does it have to be min 12 months? What about Coop/internship experience?

Will different nocs be counted are all experience should belong to one noc?

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 10.3Footnote a of the Immigration and Refugee Protection ActFootnote b, gives the annexed Ministerial Instructions Amending the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System (Canadian Work Experience — Paragraphs 15(3)(b) and 19(4)(b)).

Ottawa, May 30, 2015
Chris Alexander
Minister of Citizenship and Immigration

Paragraphs 15(3)(b) and 19(4)(b) were modified to remove the requirement that Canadian work experience be continuous for determining points under the Comprehensive Ranking System for the candidate, spouse or common-law partner.
For consistency and clarity, the Ministerial Instructions were also modified as follows:
The term “with one or more employers” was added to paragraphs 15(3)(b), 19(4)(b) and 25(1)(b);
The term “full-time employment” in subsections 15(5), 19(6) and 25(3) was replaced by “full-time work;”
Subsection 19(3) was repealed; and,
The word “emploi” in subsections 15(6), 19(7) and 25(4) and paragraphs 15(7)(a) and 19(8)(a) of the French version of the Ministerial Instructions was replaced by “travail.”

Thank you so much for the information. Could u please send me the link of these changes. Thank u again

It is possible then the next draw might be CEC based?

webpage is down..... CIC is updating something...

It's the GCkey website, correct? not the instructions/draw website..

Its a good news,

I got 2 quick questions

1: Will they count the experience if we work under two different NOC's (ex NOC 2175 and NOC 2272, Both of them fall under NOC "B")
coz I worked 360 hours of part-time under NOC 2175 and 1200 hours under NOC 2272 (Full time - currently working).
can I club both to get required 1560 hrs

2: Will they consider internship / co-op (paid) work - while studying full time towards CEC ?

2 different NOCs would be considered.
Coops wont be considered

Thanks for the reply, I hope they consider the paid internship too for CEC, as they count it towards FSW....

Not if it is during a time of full time study.
