My study permit is going to expire in July, and my wife is currently not in Canada.
I am thinking whether I can apply SOWP even if my study permit is only valid about 6 months or so.
The idea is to apply for SOWP with my study permit now and later apply for SOWP with my PGWP when she is here in Canada.
My concern is that since my study permit is gonna expire in 6 months, CIC might not grant the SOWP and it'll affect future applications. What do you guys think? Should I try to apply SOWP now or wait a couple months for the PGWP.
