I am Sponsoring my wife from Pakistan. I have few questions which I could not get answers from CIC. I have tried to talk to them there was no life operator only machine was answering, but not my questions.

I work part-time 2 days per week I make around $8000 annually. I am looking for second job and I am hopeful I will get full-time job soon. I heard that there is no minimum requirement for only spouse sponsorship, but my question is can I start application with above income for now? I know if my income was good it would be better.

Second, do I have to send her Afghan passport with documents it say on Document checklist?

Are there anything else supporting documents they may need which not mention in Document checklist?

Thanks for your time

There is no minimum income requirement for sponsoring spouse. Most of us have attatched letter from employer about employment status, so make sure you do it too. Rest there are so many senior members who know a lot will help you.

Send copy of passport not original. Send pics of wedding, reception, honeymoon if any. Correspondences between you and your wife, copy of marriage certificate. Basically once you complete your checklist, make sure you send them anything that proves that your marriage is genuine.
