Hello everybody!
I have applied for immigration without my hubby who is currently working in the army. I have received the Certificate of selection and now I have been to send the Schedule 1 form for my hubby.
I guess he will be security investigated now.
Has somebody passed through a similar case?
Does somebody had immigrated while his hubby/wife is still in the army?
Thanks in advance

which Army he is in? Army discipline requires prior clearance from the government for immigrating to another country.Has your husband inormed his command about your or his immigration before your application. If not this may become a disciplinary problem for your husband, and may lead to a court martial.

Thanks for your reply, ghiaskhan
My hubby has not informed his command officer yet because he didn't sent any information regarding himself yet. It was only me that was asked to give details about my background.
Thank you for the advise.
Do you know somebody else with similar problem?
My hubby is very concerned that he might lose his job. On the other hand I am affraid my application might be rejected due to his job.
Any comments and advises are welcome.
Thanks in advance

Donot worry, tell our husband that he should inform his command that you (his wife ) wanted to immigrate, he should get a "No objection certificate " from the army for you. This will straighten things and your husband may not face any problem. Once you have immigrated he may request for release and may join you later.

Thanks again, ghiaskhan!
Your reply is quite helpful for me!
I hope it will work ... Keep fingers crossed!
Regards
Sonya
