Hi so I am applying to get a Federal SKilled Worker Program - 2133 Electrical and Electronics Engineer visa through COUNTRYWIDE IMMIGRATION PRIVATE LIMITED, website : www.countrywidevisas.com. They did my technical assessment round and then got me through an interview with their Canadian agent which according to them I passed. Now they say that I have to pay a fee of 1 lakh rupees after which they will conduct my final interviews, the fee includes consultancy charges, lawyer fees etcetera!! the deal would be signed on a stamp paper and they promise a 70% refund policy.

NOW MY QUESTION IS : IS THIS COMPANY AUTHENTIC? They do have an office at Nehru Place, I've met my consultant face to face. They also are registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Indian Government. Should I pay the fees and take the risk? All I want to know is whether or not are they a legit firm. If they are then I have no problems, I just don't want to get duped off a lakh rupees.

Has anyone else ever gone through Countrywide Immigration Consultants (countrywidevisas.com)?

ANY ADVICE OR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED
THANKS

Never heard about it before. Did they offered to show you previous decisions of other candidates ?Have you tried other ones like y axis, abhinav, oasis ? They offer such services at low rates.

I can't answer your question.

However what I can tell you is that the fact you passed the interview with their Canadian agent means absolutely nothing. This is an agent within their own company who is in no way connected with CIC and has no influence with CIC. This doesn't in any way mean you have been accepted for PR to Canada.

No they didn't, they only told me that they successfully have placed many in Canada and that after I pay them the fees they will setup final interviews with the company which would basically be face to face interviews in form of skype interview. No, I am being skeptical here. I would try Y axis and all now.. I'll keep this on hold.

Ok, I understand your point, but they said that they'll be setting up the interviews and chances are high that I'd get selected and once I get the job offer I'd be granted the visa easily.

FYI - y axis has a horrible reputation and they are generally regarded as scammers. Avoid them.

What about Abhinav? I have emailed both Y- axis and Abhinav. Which is the best consultant? I don't mind paying extra if I get good service.

Also, does Immigration consultants like Abhinav and all arrange interviews to get you a job offer from Canada too?

Check out wwics out also...they have 2 offices in Delhi and plenty in India and outside India. They are expensive to deal with.

Any consultant that tells you they will arrange to get you job offers while you are outside Canada is highly likely a scam. For you to know if you are dealing with genuine and licensed immigration agencies/consultants, check this link from CIC website, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/verify-rep.asp

And check this link, http://www.iccrc-crcic.ca/home.cfm?setLanCookie=En

It is wrong for you to direct applicants to another immigration consultant's website when you are using the free resources on this website of a competent immigration representative! That was why the system was blockiong it, please respect yourself and desist from such. If you need a consultant, please use canadavisa.com, the owner of this website/blog.

Pipis,

Yes I totally agree with you that if u need a consultant u should visit canadavida.com....
But this forum is all about helping our fellow members who are in doubt/dilemma.
I have nothing to do with the above mentioned consultant...its just that already lot of other consultant names have already been mentioned and I was giving him another option to consult with.
