Looking at the present scenario perhaps what you are saying is correct to some extent . They are deliberately indulging themselves in frivolous activities which doesn't leads to any conclusion to resolve this issue less issue . Now lets wait for PSLRB decision in coming days/weeks , may be something positive comes out on their end.

As I mentioned earlier, the attitude of Canadian Government & Treasury board seems as if they are more than happy with PAFSO's strike. I wonder why they are not interested in resolving it, as if they are looking it as a reason to justify delay in processing the files.

Above this, it will give them leverage to stretch the MI-1 files processing & finalization till 2014.

PAFSO's strike is now a "blessing in disguise" for the Canadian government observing their approach & efforts so far in resolving this 5 months old strike. >:(

I can't recall any such movement lasting so long in India. At least they take some steps to either stop or resolve such strikes. They critically need counseling from their Indian counterparts.

Would suggest to get the DD made in CAD$ of 490/- + 490/- = 980/- this way there will be no confusion on the currency rate change or date when the fees is submitted to NDVO. Get it made in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Sunnysport

Hi SS,

Since the payment is being made in India, it is better to stick to INR Draft. Foreign Currency Drafts (include CAD) are NOT payable in India and therefore cannot be tracked for payment by the purchaser of the Draft. Further, the purchaser of the CAD Draft will also be subject to Exchange Rate Fluctuation (apart from DD Commission) and therefore may prove to be expensive and is not advisable. An INR Draft payable at New Delhi will suffice. Note that the amount of INR Fees (for RPRF) should be referred to, in the schedule of fees payable and is not dependent on the prevailing Exchange Rate.

The purchaser may take his / her own appropriate decision.

I have a query friends. My present residential address is different from the address mentioned in the Passport. If I apply for a PCC from Reginal passport office/Passport Seva Kendra:

1. How much time will be taken by Passport office to issue PCC?
2. Is a physical verification of the present residential address conducted by the Passport office?

It depends upon the last verification done when you applied your passport.
in many cases the Issue PCC on the same day and if they havt satisfactory data then they will send verification which takes 20-25 days approximately

Mr. Dhillon,

When were your Passports received at CHC ND. Also there is huge GAP in your medical completed (20-Mar-13)& medical result received line appearing(16-Aug-13) on your E_CAS. Were you asked for any medical furtherance.

Dear Ms. Dhillon,

At the outset, Congratulations for crossing another step and joining our Band, which is waiting for DM. Welcome aboard. Indeed, it took a long time of 5 Months, for your Medical Line update. However, All is Well that Ends Well!

Folks,

This also indicates that the MR / Application Processing is on, albeit as a trickle. Let us all pray and hope to get the Maple Leaf ASAP.

Good Luck to all.

Regards.

You need not send Aus PCC if they havn't asked for it. They clearly mention the PCC they need. So don't worry and wait for PPR.

I am not sure but seniors will guide you better. I am under impression if we had stay of more than 6 months in any country then we need to submit pcc of that country

Dhillon -

you are good not to submit any docs for now - no pcc required apart from wt's been sent already

Hi,

You don't need to send PCC of Australia again as I was in the same situation as I was in US till 2008.
I sent an case specific query and got a reply back that I don't need to send the US PCC again.
