When did you get AOR2? When did they start processing your app in mxvo?

They said they started to process the application of the PA on July 15th and we received AOR2 on August 17th!

Well, as I have quoted before, it is important for us to be realistic on timelines. I am hoping to unite with my wife in 8-9 months. Things are not going to speed up diplomatically for next few months given the clash between Ottawa and Mexico ( despite easing off diplomatic pressure following Nieto's visit ). Moreover as we near December, I hope our timelines to improve slightly better.

Yes, we all have to be realistic. I remain optimistic about Us (May applicants) that our process will be faster than in the past years. One thing is for sure and true "as of December 1st, Mexican Citizens will not need a visa to enter Canada". It's already posted and has been for a while on CIC page. Also, Trudeau himself confirmed it on his Twitter account and on live TV! We have to give this guy some credit...

some news here. May 4th applicant, PA from Chile.

Eligibility: In Process

Medical: Passed

Background Check: changed to In Process!

We were requested a fingerprint based police cert from Canada since my partner has been living in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa.

I wish a speedy processing to everyone !

Been over a month we received the RPRF and paid it on the same day, (July 27) and still no news from CIC, we applied December 27 2015.


We officially passed the 8 months mark, I was really hoping to get my PPR by now.


We have to stay positive !

crazy! I submitted most things upfront so the only thing I will be asked for is the PGR..... I did get ahead of the game before my application was sent out..

Looks like they're improving with SA approvals, took under a month for us. If only Mexico office was as efficient.

Sent in our police check last week and a couple days ago they requested an updated Background declaration. (Schedule A)...we are sending that in today! What happens next? I am assuming passport request
