did yu scan it to them?

the doctor told my husband he didn't have to send anything to Mexico, but when he mailed the police clearance, he sent a copy of the medical.

maybe I will email them just to confirm!

Yes, I scanned it to prove that we got it done and they would know to look for it!

when did you redo medical again!?

I think it only takes 2-3 weeks to get passport back, some get it faster

Hi there, I realised they posted things back on Fridays. So for example they got my papers last monday and they only posted back to me on a Friday, so it was one week.
This happened to me twice, since I had to return my COPR because of the mistake they made on birthday date.
I'm in Canada and I payed for express shipping with UPS. So it only takes 48 hours....as the embassy posts on a Friday, I received my documents on Tuesday. Both times was the same! I think they have a very structured way of working..
If you are waiting, just be patient...things will come! I still don't understand why some apps take longer than others, but don't think about it because there is no answer! Every couple is a world! Said that, just concentrate in staying positive and avoid being stressed out about it....It will come!!!
Cheers and speedy processing to you guys

HI Chrillan and everyone!

Well, got some bad news, my partner went to the interview and I went as well, but they didn't let me in.

We applied under the conjugal partner category but got rejected only because we haven't got married, the officer didn't had doubts that our relationship is genuine but questioned why we haven't got married.

So now we are getting married soon, but don't know if we should appeal and send the marriage certificate or if we have to submit a new application.

It's hard since all you know this process can be stressful.

I wish you all the best of luck!

I'll keep you posted any decision we take.

And if anyone can help us with any advice, it will be truly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that.
I saw that thwy started processing your application on July, and you already went to the interview? That was a fadt schedule.

Indeed, not much movement, my SA and PR are showing "in process" for 3 weeks and I received my letter for SA approval and requesting upfront med at the end of February. My wife passed her med 2 weeks ago, it was submitted through e-online by the doctor. ECAS shows the following since then:

SA
1. We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxxx on December 23, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 16, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on February 16, 2016.

PR
1. We received xxxxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on December 23, 2015.

a guy my husband met at his interview, got PPR on Thursday!

17 days after he redid his medical.

Hope my husband's PPR comes next week

Ours was 3.5 weeks from when we sent it. Let me tell you!!! We couldn't find anyone willing to send the passport to Mexico!! We finally found Dhl in santo Domingo but they wouldn't let us send a prepaid envelope... So who knows if he'll get his passport back!

Mexico will email you when they are ready to send it back but you will have to go back to DHL and prepare the slip.

I think the key is to not let them know its a passport you are sending! Just put it all in an envelope and then tell them you need to send documents. Nobody wants to be responsible for a lost passport

Oh yeah, we didn't tell them it was a passport but they went into the envelope!! But just so you know, it cost 3200 pesos to send and it was received in Mexico in less than 24 hours... Who knows how long it will take to get it back!

UPS only charges 2000 pesos for one way

I think it takes 2 weeks or so to get back.
