I have you mostly entered into the spreadsheet. Just need a bit of clarification. What was the date of the letter you received when CIC Mississauga acknowledged receipt of your application. I suspect it should be late June or early July of 2015.

Have you not yet received your AOR2 from the Mexico City Visa Office?? If you did, on what date?

You have indicated that you submitted your PGR report on 05/04/2015. This is unusual because normally you need a letter that the MCVO sends to you in order to request the constancia de antecedentes penales. Can you clarify the date you submitted that to the VO so that we can get the right information for you onto the spreadsheet please.

You have indicated that the visa office has already requested additional documentation including CSQ/Right of Permanent Residence Fee and FBI Certs. On what date were these requested?

All of my concerns may be addressed knowing that you have your AOR2 from the MCVO.

Sorry for the long wait but I finally have some time.....

So the PGR I actually did it before I initially sent everything to Miss. so that I could be "ahead of the game"... but now whats holding me back is the FBI certs... :-X

As for the AOR2 it was received on Sept 29, 2015 and the AOR that was received in July 6, 2015...

I was a bit confused bc CIC received the app on May 4,2015 but then on July is when they told me it was going to be processed in MCVO, and the MEX. sent me an email on september 29th. basically saying that if an interview is required that they will let me know a month in advance, Which I hope to God that, thats not the case.

I hope that answers your question... Please let me know if I am missing something !!

It's been awhile since last on here. Lots of positive news. My wife and I arrived in Toronto on September 26
Since then she had received her permanent resident card on November 24 and then her Ontario health card almost a month later on December 23.
Life has been going pretty good here with the adjustments for her in this Canadian winter compared to Central American weather.
Well cheers to all and the best of luck for a smooth and quick process

CANANICA!! Thanks for stopping by here and updating us! Yes, there has been a whirlwind of activity lately.

Glad your wife is settling in well in Canada. Interesting difference between provinces, my wife received her Alberta health number immediately upon requesting it and her "paper" card came in the mail a week later... Is there a waiting period for health coverage in Ontario?

It sounds like you didn't receive an stage 1 AOR letter and just received the Spousal Approval (SA) email (on July 6) telling you the file was being transferred to the Mexico Visa Office. No big deal as far as the spreadsheet is concerned.

What date did they request the additional documentation?? Did you get an email from the Embassy of Canada in Mexico city after Sept 29 requesting the additional documents?

I will move your timeline into the main spreadsheet.

Hope you and your wife are having a blast in Canada.. I'm just stopping by to ask some questions.. For us it's been 81 days since we for SA and 71 days since the app changed to IP and we haven't received AOR2 yet. Should be worried? Another thing is that I've been noticing when the app changes to IP the date shows up on ECAS when it's updated. For example ours changed to IP on Nov 05/15, so once updated in ECAS should it be that date? Another little question when do VO's ask for additional documents( as soon as they receive the file or at any time during the processing)?

My husband is here in Canada now on a visitor visa while we wait for PR, as soon as he arrived in Canada, we sent an email to the Mexico VO to advise them how he can be contacted while in Canada, and ECAS now shows his information as my information here in Toronto

When you do your landing into Canada you will be given a paper sheet from the immigration officer. This is a informal of your permanent residency until your card is sent to you in the mail. It took my wife approximately 60 to receive her PR card. But right away with the paper the officer had given you upon landing all you have to do to file your Ontario health card is visit any service Ontario. Also right away you can receive a social insurance number.
