BOOOOOOOOOOM!

Good start to the week!!

AOR2 Received at 12:13 MST

Includes request for:

- PGR (Constancia de Antecedentes Registrales)
- Updated Schedule A going back to January 2011
- Evidence of intention to re-establish in Canada
- Intent to Reside in Canada

As per usual 30 days to submit the information.

As many have experienced, I'm not sure why they are requesting information we've already submitted (in detail), but, oh well. We will submit again, even more detailed.

We are happy, happy, happy its finally come! There is light at the end of the tunnel!

;D

Hey guys,
getting ready for our big move, just wondering for those who have already landed in Toronto what the process is like and how long it takes? What do we need to bring ? My brother will be picking us up and i don't want him to be waiting for a long time for us.

canzanillo that's awesome really happy for you, ... I have one question... They ask you evidence of re-establish In Canada, intend to reside in Canada... What do they mean? If you are in Mexico what can of evidence can you send them?
Aside from the PGR request and the updated Schedule A, here is what they asked for in the letter attached to the email we received from MCVO;

"Evidence of intention to re-establish in Canada" - Please provide evidence of your sponsor’s intention to re-establish in Canada (i.e. photocopies of one or more of the following documents: job offer in Canada, property rental agreement, employment contract, property deed, letter of acceptance by educational institution in Canada, mortgage of property, etc.)

"Intent to Reside in Canada" - Please provide a letter providing details of your plan to establish in Canada.

--------------------------

I thought that we had covered both of these topics in our application, so I am honestly struggling a bit to come up with ideas to include in these submissions. The first item corresponds to me as the sponsor. I own a business in Canada, which I indicated in the original application. I don't have property rental agreement nor mortgage docs, nor require a job offer, nor employment contract, nor additional education (ok that is debatable ;) ) so it may be challenging for me to come up with some additional information. I AM TOTALLY WILLING TO HEAR SUGGESTIONS AT THIS POINT!! Anyone with creative but realistic ideas?? I expressed in the original application that i would be resuming working in my current business, that once approved and upon landing we would begin the search for a suitable residence, be it house, apartment, etc. And that in the meantime we would be living with my brother (who provided a letter confirming same).

Coincidentally, I just returned to Calgary on the weekend to tend to my business, visit family, and sign a lease on a vehicle which is intended for our use in Calgary once we land (In theory right?) It was a friends vehicle, very well cared for and i had to act even though we don't have an approved PR Visa. So, I intend to include documentation for that leased vehicle to try to help prove re-establishment. Having said that I am not prepared to sign a one year lease on an apartment for example without having an approved visa in hand... that's just not reasonable!!

Ideas anyone?

The second item corresponds to my wife the PR Applicant. I suppose that we need to submit a clear and detailed plan about her establishing herself in Canada. Work?, education? family? etc.

Again, any ideas would be helpful from you experiences...

Speedy processing!

I haven't landed there, nor anywhere else for that matter, but from what I have read here, of course your passport/visa and COPR, B4 forms for personal Items you are bringing with you and/or are to follow. If not overly busy it could be as little as 1/2 an hour for landing paperwork.

Hope that helps... a little

Big thanks to everyone for your felicitaciones!! :D

As I said we are very happy we finally got AOR2. That is good for everyone on this board to keep things moving!

At the same time we are very nervous and excited. Glad that the PGR request came with AOR2 because that "should" shorten the remaining processing time (our medicals expire 12/16/2015) I didn't anticipate the additional information request and that puts you on your heals a bit. But as the nerves have settled some we will surely get the information to them that they desire and in the end we will have a successful application.

As an FYI, I just checked eCAS status and there have been no updates to reflect that they have sent us the AOR2 correspondence.

Speedy Processing!

OMG CANzanillo congratulaaaations!!!! :D I'm very happy for you guys... you deserve it. Now, as for ideas on what to send, here are some:

1) How is that letter that you sent stating that you will live with your brother? It might be a good idea to have a letter signed by your brother notarized or affidavit (not really sure if it is the same) addressed to CIC where he compromises that you wil live with him and details or documents of that house, like a lease or property proof.

2) You have been travelling back and forth to Canada, right? Send proof (passport photocopies or plane tickets) and a letter stating that actually you're working on your business. You could provide more proof of your business as taxes or bank statements from you and/or company. I dont really know laws regarding companies but something must be there to show them.

3) Bank statements showing money available to help you guys settle in Canada. If you signed up any kind of contract like with FIDO or whatever, it might be a good idea to show that as well.

4) Letter stating exactly what you wrote here, plus "I have 20000000$ saved in XXXX bank that we will both use to lease a house". And "As I didnt want to be away from my wife I have been travelling back and forth but our idea is moving definetely once she gets her PR status, here is proof of all my travels".

5) As for your wife, well... obviosly to live with you and that she plans on (for example) going to school to improve English, or look for a job on her field. There's no really much to say here.

6) Maybe just to be on the safe side... a letter from a another family member stating they know you and that the only reason for you to be in Mexico is your wife (if that's the case) and that you will move back.

I dont really understand why they ask for Schedule A AGAIN zzzzzz... there's where the sponsor details what they've been doing, right? Probably they just want to see what you've been up to since you sent your application. Good news is that they DID NOT request more proof of relationship so this means their only concern is you as a sponsor (basically what you've been doing since then). If it is for sponsored person... well maybe the same... maybe they want to see if she's been staying in the same place as you and see if everything matches.

Hope something here helps... ;)
