It will work to do it before the VO requests it. You can submit a case specific enquiry into the VO once you've done it (and you know they have the application). By doing it before they ask for it, the medical results will be ready for them to pull it into your file when they look for it (avoiding delays).

Good luck!

Thank you OhCanadiana, I really appreciate your reply. I will ask my husband to book the appointment ASAP. The CIC's web-page is not always very clear.

Good Luck to you too !!!

Hello Chrillan, the best choise was to send it with all your papers with the application to avoid delays. My husband and I, we sent our application with all papers Canadian Visa Office ask from the very beginning. But my husband checked on another forum and read that you can send it later with the number of the case if you have it already or the client number.
Good luck in your process.

Thank you Nprendiz, I appreciate every ones advise and thoughts. We do have the UCI number so we are going to book the appointment. Our file is still in Mississauga so we should have plenty of time, but just in case. :D

I hope you have a speedy process!!!

I'm oficially going nuts, i haven't hear anything from VO.

In 2 days it's going to be 5 months since hubby got SA, so you can imagin.

I emailed them to many times.

From febrary to May their answer was that the file was not in Mexico yet, From June till now their answer is that is in queque. I can't believe it!!

I had a tourist visa but i will be over this August, do you recommend me to reaply for TRV?

Hopefuly after PGR request i'll get PPR faster :(

We got same answer from VO. Just hope to hear good news from VO soon. :(

Well, I understand your frustration, at least you had a tourist visa. I asked before this process and was denied. I've ever been on Canada and my husband comes at least once a year. He must work and I do to. We both have kids to take care of. Anyway, we asked that question to a lawyer and told us to not do it, that he recommended to not ask a visa to not delay the process.
I really hope that you get answers soon. I received my second AOR after 6 moths of total silence. :D ;)
Best wishes for you!!

Buenos días!!!

So I checked Ecas this morning like 6:30am and there it was Decision Made!!!
Good luck to everyone.
I think they are starting to work again on Mexico applications.
There was some delay but i really think everyone will start seeing some movement now!
Best wishes to everybody.

Tx dasher I have organized you into the main spreadsheet.

2 questions. 1. What is your destination in Canada on landing? 2. If you are not residing with your spouse and you are not residing in Canada, were the heck are you?? :P ::) ;D lol You don't have to answer that if it compromises your security, marriage, wellbeing in general, some kind of non-disclosure agreement... ;)

Thanks for being part of our group! You should hopefully be receiving some good news soon. You've been waiting too long since PGR submission!!

Hey all!
Just popping in to say that hubby landed on 2 July. We drove up to Niagara Falls to do it, stayed for the weekend and drove back home. I have to add here for anyone else thinking about landing at Rainbow Bridge - DON'T DO IT! We waited in immigration for 7 freaking HOURS >:( There were a couple other people waiting to land as PRs and many to activate working holiday visas. None of those people waited less than 5 hours. When someone got pissed enough to ask one of the officers what the problem was, we were all informed that we were "low priority." I guess after day trippers and people who walked/drove into Canada accidentally.

They would call people and then send them to sit down, call them again and send them to sit down. They didn't even call my husband the first time until 10.30pm and that was to ask him what he was doing there today. What the hell?!?! You have a slip of paper saying that he's landing. Geez. So, we tell him he's here to land and the officer says that he'll fill in the form, go have a seat. Call #2: sign here and here. Have a seat. Call #3: Take your Goods Lists to that guy over there and he'll handle it. Customs guy: Let's have you Goods to Follow list. Oh this is very organized. Good job. Stamp stamp stamp. You're all set. All of this takes no more than 30 minutes.

I don't understand why they would hold up people that have already approved COPRs and working visas. All they have to do is stamp it; there's nothing to check, but that's their policy. They were rude enough to tell one guy that was waiting about 4 hours, that it was his problem and he should have made an appointment. Ugh.

Curse you, Internet, for making me think it would've been a cake walk. :P

Very happy for you the process is finally over for you and your hubby, despite the bittersweet ending at the border. Congratulations!

Lovelycomplex,

Consider seriously reapplying for TRV. Post PGR submission processing ranges from 1 to more than 4 months. With current delays we are all experiencing who knows how long it will take or whether processing times will begin to improve.
