You went to a panel physician in Mexico. They sent in your medical exam results. They should have given you a receipt (with your spouse's photo on it).

Go back to the doctor and get a receipt.

Hey guys, I've been trying to do what some of you have under your username with process dates but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone care to guide me?

Your doctor should be able to re-print the file they sent to the Embassy. Our doctor in Monterrey makes a habit of emailing patients the pdf files for our records, so if he can, the system allows it. We got our pdf copy 5 days after the exam because the doctor was waiting for the blood test results, it is not something that is handed right after your initial visit (maybe that's why you didn't get it?). Call your doctor and ask for a copy of the "eMedical health case details tracking sheet", it contains all the information regarding the exam.

Hi fatimafnts. You need minimum 10 posts before you can edit your profile with your info.

Guys! I just received AOR2 from Mexico VO.
They are requesting me to send police certificate, with a letter from Embassy (I understand this is requiered to all mexicans), an updated version of IMM5669 form, payment of right of permanent residence fee and copy of my husband´s valid bio data page from his passport.
I am happy and excited, but nervous too, I will try to get everything as fast as possible!

Thanks CANzanillo :)

I know Mexicans are asked for a police check part way through their application but I was wondering if for non-mexicans they do the same. My husband is from Costa Rica and the Mexico VO processes his application. We submitted his police check when we first applied in September.

I sent an enquiry to the Mexico City VO a few days ago. After sending them my fingerprints in late October for them to get my PGR, we had heard nothing. I got a response from them this morning - apparently my application is just sitting there waiting to be reviewed. So frustrating, I thought they'd be doing background checks by now.

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is in queue for review. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received.

No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Great! This is evidence that at least they are reviewing your documents. I hope you get even better news soon...

No they don't. My husband is also from CR and you just send the police certificate upfront

I received basically the same thing when I messaged them in December, but like 10 days after they responded we got our letter for an interview. Maybe your inquiry got your file opened and they're working on it now. I wouldn't recommend sending a lot of inquiry's but my aor 2 said if I don't hear something in 6 months I should contact the office directly, so I did. Our interview is on Tuesday. Hopefully my hubby can come home this summer!

Hi Guys, i have a question, When they send you the letter for PGR's, it shows on ECAS?

No it doesn't. They only post whether they received the medicals on ECAS but they don't post anything to do with police checks.

Maybe you're right - it took Mississauga nearly 3 months to give us SA (processing time was ~2 months then) and it happened shortly after our lawyer sent an enquiry on our behalf. I also ordered GCMS notes about a week and a half ago. My wife just says I should be happy they have my police certificate now heh. I'm just a worry wart.

Good luck to your hubby on his interview on Tuesday!!!

This is actually good news - they got back to you relatively quickly and you now know they aren't waiting for anything from you :)
