Hi everyone .

Tomorrow is a week we got Sponsor Approval, I want to send a page with additional information, from one of the forms, we got missed when we send the package to missisauga

I want to send them too that famous waybill, you know just want to make sure my PGR letter gets here with no problem when they send it.

How long you think I should wait to send this to them? And how I have to do that?

I appreciate your help.

Your hubby was a failed refugee too right? So we're both basically waiting around to see if they make us do Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC).

I remember I saw u posted something about when they request u the PGR letter nd those other documents and a month after I got the AOR .I was a failed refugee , my husband is canadian ... Yes we are on the same boat waiting if they will ask for the ARC hopefully not lol have u hear from them ???

We started on march 04 2013 got sponsorship aproval march 28th 2013 .. they request more documents on june 05 2013 , send additional documents july 12 2013 nd till now havent hear from them .

well i have a quick question thats rolling around my mind and i would like to get it clear with some of your help guys.
well i sended my aplication the first days of may and my wife got a letter (the first one we recived) in july 11 saying that she have met the federal requirements for eligibility as a sponsor, and also saying that my file has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. and then a week later we aplied for the CSQ which i havent recived any answer

Since then i have not recived any other email (i belive because the strike :'().
so the quiestion is
whats the next step that im going to pass through??.......document request maybe??

and also how far my proces is :
am i in step 1 of 5
or 2 of 6 or..... ;D

i hope somebody can clear my wonderings
thanks in advance guys i send the best vibes for the strike to finish and for all our cases to be aproved!!!!

Is CSQ a Quebec thing? I'm not too sure about where that fits into the process.

If you're applying for Quebec, (which I am too), first your sponsor has to be approved on the federal level by CIC, which is done, right? Then immediately after, you have to send the undertaking application for you to receive the CSQ, usually it takes 5 weeks to get it IF you're approved by MICC. Then after you have been approved and have your CSQ, you need to wait for the embassy to contact you.

I must say though, that althought I was approved from Quebec (I'm the sponsored, my wife is the sponsor), I never received the CSQ through the mail. Never. I was waiting and waiting, and never got it. Even my wife had to call MICC to ask twice for it. They even resend the CSQ and the second one never arrived (We both live in Mexico City). So I sent an specific case Enquiry to the embassy asking if they received a copy of it and they replied back 3 weeks after saying that they did. As a precaution, we called again MICC and asked for an extra copy for the CSQ to be sent to my mother in law and then she fedex the actual CSQ to us.

But yeah, basically, you just have to wait now. If you haven't heard from MICC I suggest you to call them and ask about your CSQ if you haven't received yet.

Yes, they say that they started processing on April 2013. We are just waiting for the decision.

Shouldn't you be getting your MP to look into it for you? Ours has a special person for getting in touch with CIC under the freedom of information act. She has been invaluable.

Just to let you all know ;D I am very happy. Today around noon, by wife got the passport request finally!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo Happy. I told her to go immediately to DHL to send it and she did. It is on the way!!!!!1
So they are working, I really hope that all of you get the same good news!
