I would like to hear stories about family class interviews, I havent even mailed my application yet , but I always get paranoid and scared with this type of things....

I'll be going next week to canada to see my wife, probably what would be my last visit before sending our app, excited,scared,anxious,happy all at the same time

I sent in 2 case specific inquiries 1 month apart and never received a reply from the Visa Office. I did receive, however, an emailing requesting additional documents (documents showing sponsors establishment in Canada). Although it wasn't in answer to the emails i sent, i am glad i received something from them. Those documents are now in transit to mexico and i hope this is it. The letter did state that they were in the process of finalizing the file so I pray to God that they won't ask for more and that as soon as they receive these documents they won't request more.... :) By the way...does anyone know approximately how long it takes from the time they request more documents until you receive PPR??

That's great news!!

it all depends, what sort of documents did they request?

They asked for my husband to write a letter telling them my current activities here in Canada and asked for supporting documents such as letters of employment...etc...basically anything proving that I am established in Canada. I sent my husband as many documents as I could gather and they should be reaching Mexico shortly. But because of the wording on the letter they sent...i'm not sure what to think...i would like to think that they already completed the security screening and have established that our marriage is genuine...what do you think?

it sounds like they have done the security already and established the marriage is genuine, and now they just need to confirm how you will be supporting yourselves back home and be sure the applicant will be moving to Canada once the PR is issued.

hopefully it wont take much longer now!!
:)

I hope so! I can't wait until I have my husband here with me. I can't imagine how thrilled you are to FINALLY be with the one you love! I really am happy for you :)

I have a question, does anyone know that once an application is in process and they requested further information that as soon they get the information they will finish the case? Or does it go on a pile again?! In the email it said that they are a bout to finalize their decision but need more info.It sound like they will work on it as soon as they get it right?
::)

It takes about two months to finalize assuming that everything is in after they receive the PGR. It likely goes into another pile. Sounds like you're nearing the end.
