OMG I FEEL sooo excited!!!

i opened it! and its request for PGR!! im like shaking with excitement!!!



and also the envelope had the canada sign with the little canada flag at the end, and that just put a huge smile on my face seeing that picture!!

yay!! another step closer!, my husbands is gunna go get the pgr tomorrow or monday! but im gunna beg him to go tomorrow lol!

they havent given us a time frame to get it done in.

were going to do it asap anyways.

but im just curious do they usually give 30 days or 60 days to hand in the pgr ?

They usually give you 60 days for the pgr (from the date that it says on the letter requesting it)....I remember that because it took them about month and a half to send it. So we only had like 18 days left to get it to them!!!

On the e-mail it says 60 days. On the actual PGR letter it didn't say a date.

They usually give you 60 days for the pgr (from the date that it says on the letter requesting it)....I remember that because it took them about month and a half to send it. So we only had like 18 days left to get it to them!!!

yikes! im glad we sent in the waybill.. 18 days is a time crunch for sure! lol

My husband got his 2nd copy today. And this one said Permanent Resident instead of Temporary Resident.. WooHoo!

Maybe our ppr will be the same day!! Haha

I know.. it will probably be close lol I'm actually thinking that since he'll go to the embassy to get his visa.. that he could just fly out of Mexico City after getting the visa. I don't know if there's any potential problems there?? Will you guys leave for Canada right away after getting the visa?

I'm really wondering too.. if they would ask for the PGR only after they had waived the interview. Since it was sent with the AOR.. I'm not really sure.

my husband got his interview switched to October 4th so I will probably be flying out on the 1st.....

yeah that would make sense. as long as its easy for him to bring his luggage and belongings to mexico city.

well my aunt is coming nov 10 to visit she already booked everything. so we have to stay till than, but after that im hoping we will be able to leave right away. we would like to be home at my parents place for a snowy white christmas in alberta lol.

and about the interview yeah i dunno because your right it gets sent with aor. but i feel like ours was a bit different because them spent 4 months working on it without sending an aor or anything. so i would assume they should have it figured out if they want an interview or not after 5 months now! lol.

im not sure about it. my immigration consultant said usually police checks are last, if they wanted an interview it would be asked before but who knows really lol.

awesome!! so you will be there for the interview thats great! and good thing they only changed it a couple days and not like 2 weeks later or something silly!.
