If he had been living in Mexico, I can almost guarantee his tattoo would have been noted in the medical exam. The organized crime/gang situation there pretty much demands extra scrutiny on that front. The fact that your hubby didn't even SEE the doc in the U.S. and the fact that he wasn't living in Mexico helped you. To be honest, I think our case has just been one long example of what can go wrong, will go wrong.

Seriously, this has been one yucky, long lesson in patience but at the end of the day we will be stronger for it.

Well I think that doctor really should have seen him. First, we paid good money and second, that is his job. But oh well.

You definitely will be stronger because of this. And you will probably appreciate it a lot more too. You will get that PPR soon.

Hey guys. I am getting totally stressed out here!! :'( We submitted the SSP 2 weeks ago and have heard absolutely nothing. From what I thought, we should be receiving the PPR by now. We can't figure out what the delay might be. Anyone have any ideas?
Maybe there is a delay because of the holiday? Any day now I am sure!

Thank you Canadiangirl78. We are trying to hold on. The thing that really held up the process was that my hubby had initially sent his nephew to get the SSP but found out that he had to send his brother instead (since he and the brother have the same set of last names). That required getting another power of attorney drawn up and sent to Mexico.

Hey, I have a question for you, when did "medical results received" show up on your e-cas? I noticed that they do not show receiving the medical results on our e-cas. The only thing that shows up i e-cas for us is that the file is "In Process".

Sounds like the SPP was a pain, sorry.

"Medicals received" showed up right after sponsorship approval which I am seeing is common now. But don't even worry. For our 2010 app we never saw anything about medicals. I can still see that application on ecas and there is no mention of it. So I don't think it is important. They would have gotten medicals way before they started processing.

For us, we got a PPR about 3 weeks after submitting the SSP. So just hang in there a little longer, I am sure you will get it any day now!

And I´m sure the medical received isn´t an issue. If they hadn´t received them, I think that would have been one of the first things they would ask you for!

Agreed. A good medical exam involves an actual EXAM! Not just for immigration, but for good health. So weird that didn't happen.

Thanks for the support. I think I should have champagne handy for when that PPR email finally shows up and I don't care if that means drinking before noon :) Ha!

I had a dream last night I got the PR in the mail.. lol

AHHH!! What is the difference when logging in to CAS with your Client ID or App/File #? All I have is the Client ID. I finally got through to CIC to ask them fro my File/App #, and she didn't know what I was talking about. She gave me a number starting with a B then 9 digits to "try" but that doesn't work. When you're seeing Medicals Received, can you see that by just logging on under the Client ID? I want to be able to change his address.. but when I log in under my Client ID, it only gives me the option to change mine.

That's what I thought. Where did you get the file # from? Does it start with a letter then 9 digits?

yes....mine is an F.......and another hint....mine never works the first time.....always pops up not in process so I just hit the back arrow and for some reason file# is wiped out so I reenter and then the info pops up.....so strange........same when I log in under my uci# always comes up invalid the first time so hit the back arrow erase my client # and re-enter and then it works..... :o

Still not working. Could it take a while before his comes up? I just got approved as a sponsor on July 3.
