I can log in to ECAS, but when I try to log in under my husband's info, it doesn't work. Is it a different Client ID for him?

**I have the same issue. I use the "application number" to sign in with my husband and I use the "UCI" number to sign in for myself (I am the sponsor)?? Strange - but it seems to work???

All I have is the Client ID, which the call center agent gave me, because I still haven't received anything in writing from CIC even though I have been approved as a sponsor.

Ok Thanks. I will call them back and see if I can get the file #.

That could be a couple of months from what I hear, and I need to change his address :(

My ecas went to "in process" on a Saturday. Or very very late Friday. Weird! It says they started processing on July 4. Which is kind of ironic since we were celebrating Independence Day here in the US!

Yeah that clears it up, but I don't have the file #, so I'm hoping the Call Center Agent will give it to me. I didn't receive anything in writing when they told me my sponsorship was approved.

They said they e-mailed me, I verified my e-mail address is correct, and checked my Junk Mail folder.. but I never received an e-mail.

oh great-----cyber space----!!!! well then they should give you the application/file number no problem when you call!!!

Ok, I thought my husband would know what the SSP security check is, but doesn't. What is it? and how do you get it?

yeah my husband doesnt know what that is either.
when we did our application he was only told to get one certificate saying he was clean and had no criminalities in all of mexico.
im not sure the name of it. but thats all we were told to get.
i guess if he needs something else they will email us and ask us for it.

also i dunno who was talking about the file numbers, but we got our file number and uci when we got the sponsor approval email from missasauga, we didnt have to wait for an aor to get a file number... although we still havent received an aor so i guess it was best they gave us the file number at the begining.

its confusing cuz everything is so different for everyone even if the cases are so simple and similar.

Yes, each of you has a separate UCI.
