While my baby sleeps in, I decided to analyze my first application a little more.

This time around, I got approval on May 16 and an AOR from Mexico on June 4. I do not see "In Process" yet.

Last time, I got approval on February 16 and an AOR from Mexico on April 27. However, they started processing on March 26. That is why my PPR came so fast after the AOR. (May 3 - 6 days later) They had already been working on it over a month.

So from Sponsorship Approval to PPR it was 76 days.

I am 35 days right now. That leaves 41 days left till PPR if things go the same this time which of course there is no guarantee.

I know this isn't interesting to anyone else but I need to have it written somewhere so I don't have to calculate everything again. :P

I'm hoping the new GCMS notes turn up this week. Ordered them on May 18. Will be interesting to see if any of the status codes or dates have changed.

Oh I can't wait to hear what you find out! Someone in another thread got their notes and said it was like 26 pages. I sure hope you get some good news.

Hi everyone!!

Question regarding the new process to get the PGR letter: I checked the website and the payment it´s supposed to be done at the bank with something called "e5cinco" BUT:

Do I just go to the bank and tell them I need to pay 130.00 pesos at e5cinco? or what are the requirements/specifications they need to know?
Has anyone else done this b4?

thanks all for your comments

cheers!!

I also got stuck the first time I tried to pay for the PGR document so I can relate to that, it can be confusing!

Click on the e5cinco logo on the PGR website, it will take you to another site, follow the instructions and you can print a "hoja de ayuda" with all the payment information that you need to give to the bank.

Hope this helps! :)

hi! Go here: http://www.pgr.gob.mx/servicios/e5cinco/Pago_5Millar/pago_5millar.asp?Inicio=0

and fill out the form. Remember to click ¨Enviar¨ at the bottom when you´re done, then print the page! Then you bring that to the bank!

My FBI fingerprints and application form have landed in Tijuana, today my dad will buy the money order, include it in the application and send it to the FBI.

He offered to pay for the shipping and the money order (I'm low on money atm, always happens after the wifey goes back to Canada lol!) I feel bad since it comes to over $100 USD with Fedex and the money order :(

With the money we've spent in paperwork and trips I could probably buy myself a brand new car.

I hear ya Edgar. Fingers crossed that you get the FBI back at warp speed. Hang in there! One day we'll be done with all this craziness :)

Thanks mrandmrsromero :)

My dad has the documents and he will send them tomorrow morning, they will be in WV on Monday.

Question.... Does the FBI send you an email to acknowledge receipt of the request? Or to tell you that they've sent it your way?

No acknowledgement as far as I know (in our case anyway, we never received anything) but the courier tracking will at least let you know it has arrived at their office. After that you just wait for the package.

Oh good! =) I just hope we have a repeat. I am so thankful we don't have to deal with the PGR business! It seems SO complicated!

Nessa & Edgar thanks for the info.

Also for the pictures they ask for make sure you get them ovaled and size ¨filiación¨. I know the website says different, but the website has not been updated and they will not accept them!!!

Good luck!

Okay friends, I need your feedback on the latest GCMS which just arrived this morning. All 43 pages! I don't know whether to be happy or depressed:

Assessments:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started (WTF???)
Criminality: Passed
Medical: In Progress

Paper File:
Office: PR-Background

Application Assignment:
Due Date: 2012/06/30 (good? bad? meaningless?)

Everything else in the notes looks about the same.
