Not at all, that binder is basically for Mexico City. In Mrs. Gaga they will only look at the sponsor's eligibility, such as making sure he's not bankrupt/receiving social assistance. Then everything gets sent to Mexico City for further processing.

PERFECT! and I just so happen to live in Mexico City too! :D

"Mrs. Gaga" ... :P hehehe, very funny!

Excellent! Whenever I go to the embassy to hand in documents I always type a letter with a checklist of the documents I'm handing in. I like to think that it adds more proof that I delivered my documents.

I'm gonna start doing the FBI stuff on Monday and I will send the documents to my dad (who lives in Tijuana) he will then get a family member to buy the Money Order and we will mail out the documents from within the USA.

Cool! If you include a pre-paid courier waybill, you'll get the results back a tad faster.

We just received a request from the embassy to do th PGR & SSP PCs as well as instructions for the medical.

For those who received the same instructions, what is the current delay between meds/pc and embassy requesting passports?

Also, what is the current delay between passports handed in to the embassy and the actual pickup of passports with visa?

Thanks and good luck to all.

I think the passport request is about 2 months (or a little more?) after the police checks.

and I think once you get the PPR, you can either go to the embassy personally with your passport and they give it to you on the same day. Or if you send it, it takes a few weeks.

I´m not sure about that though, maybe someone else can confirm!

Yes, you can get the passport with the visa stamped same day. I find the passport request timing is unpredictable...they seem to come in batches - at least for folks who report here and on trackit - so it depends if you are lucky or not quite.

Oh no! LOL thank you :) I signed up!!

I just sent a case specific enquiry to Mexico City to let them know that I moved to Ontario in April. I attached scans of my B4, Ontario license and OHIP stuff. I also said we were currently in California visiting my husband. Our application said Vancouver because my parents were there but then my dad got a job transfer to Ontario. I was nervous that it would complicate the case but this morning I had a strong feeling that I needed to do it, so I did. The confirmation said I might not hear back from them. So we will see.

I am getting very antsy. It is 106 today. I hate the heat. My car is in Canada. The house is barren. I am getting so bored because I have conquered the main stuff on my To Do list and the rest cannot be done until we have the PPR. We have some fun stuff planned through the end of July but after that is going to be really rough! I want that PR!
