Hello,

Can someone explain to me on how to go about translation. As of now i have following documents in spanish.
a) My spouse's birth certificate
b) Our civil and legal wedding in Mexico City
c) Plane tickets from Mexico

Should we notarize the copies of original, and get the translation done. Translator would add seal and her signature, and certify it. I am not clear on this procedure, after reading the latin america procedures for applying spousal sponsorship.

I appreciate your help on this.

Woke up this morning checked ECAS and saw we have a 6th line ( PPR). I already provided my passport to them which arrived yesterday to my VO.. So now just waiting for them to send it back with COPR and update Ecas to DM . Speedy processing to all.

Hi everyone, my wife, who I am sponsoring, lived in Mexico for a year, so we need a criminal record check from there. We aren't in Mexico so we have to send the required items into the Canadian embassy there to process them and get the check done. Any idea how long it normally takes to get the criminal record check when doing it outside of Mexico??

i got the same e-mail last week. What country is your spouse from, and did they actually give u a date?
they just deferred ours , and told us they would follow up.. so heart breaking
