OMG I SPOKE TOO FAST!!! My husband received an email today and hadnt seen it!!!!
Just got AOR2!!! sooooooooo happy :D didnt request for anything!!!

*dancing*

Hello partners!!! I also have a question that I hope you can help me to figure out. More or less (according to their own experience) how long takes to the Mexico VO to receive the file from Mississauga, ie, how long takes them to send the file to Mexico.

I'm not asking how long takes to get the AOR2 from the VO (when they start to process your file) only for the transit time from Canada to Mexico.

Thank you very much!!!

That is a mistery, the only way to know that is calling to the call centre. In theory they should send it just after SA email is sent, but Mexico VO always says that they havent received your application even months after SA. For me this is like they have it, but somewhere in a dark room with spiderwebs. Maybe they dont even know they got it until start processing.

Congratulations Saraotty!!!! :D :D and Valeescu, btw what is your timeline?

I received an email today from Mexico with the acknowledge of receipt of our RFPR, but then it says also something generic like "We have received your application, an schedule is not yet avaible, we will contact you when we start processing, please be patient blablablah
At least I know they received it!! 8) I'm happy that they didnt take 3 weeks to respond to our inquiry, only 6 days. Hope next is AOR but I am like Saraotty yesterday, not so hopeful ;(
We applied to Mississauga on February 27th

Sorry but can someone tell me what ppr is? we are applying from Mexico city, but are not Mexican, will they still ask us for a PGR, that is a police certificate specifically from Mexico? and lastly anyone know what a RFPR? sorry about all the questions, I'm a newbie :D

PPR is a Passport Request (when the VO ask for your passport to stamp the Visa). The PGR police clearance is only for mexican citizen or for people that lived in mexico for 5 months or more. If you are not a mexican citizen and you have not been living there, you should not worried about it. Finally, the RFPR is the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, ie, the fee that you need to pay for your permanent residence.
