That's exactly what I did, tishness. Hopefully it's a mistake and we don't have to send it! According to the FBI website, it takes 12-14 weeks to process the request plus mailing time.. I really don't want to be delayed another 3-4 months ???

Please let us know how they respond. It doesn't sound like you should need it! Good Luck!

Me too - everyone around us is done... hoping we get waived for an interview and receive passport request in the next week or 2... I'm going down in mid July, hoping to bring home a husband with me August 1st if all goes to plan - fingers crossed!

Not to be a downer but our PGR was received by CIC Mexico on March 3rd and we haven't heard anything. I got GCMS notes 2 weeks ago and they say they haven't started any of the checks. Be prepared for a wait. Good luck but I wouldn't expect anything soon.

Yes but fabibeach sent theirs march 18 and got passport request may 8... So it's just you and me behind her now... So let's be positive

It took the VO almost 3 weeks to return my passport. They received it on the 6th, stamped it on the 8th, and the letter that they sent along with it is dated May 15th... but the tracking number for the prepaid envelope wasn't activated until the 25th.

This has to be the hardest time waiting for passport to be sent back to me.
Today is 21 days and nothing.
I feel so close but at the same time it still seems like I can´t get this all finished!!
Omg......they say patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet.....well I hope so!!! lol

I have seen on this thread somewhere a link to CIC statistics that show how many applications the Mexico CITY VO is processing at the moment and the percentage of how many cases are processed in different time lines. I can't find it again, does anyone know what that link is??????
