He said it was a recording machine , which said they weren't working today cuz of that holiday and he said they didn't mention anything about the strike :s but he is going to call again see if he can get any more info !

Frida did you call the embassy yet and find out if there working or not ?

Im really frustrated, even if my husband gets his passport back this week, the flight prices jumped up by 300 dollars. so we wouldn't even be able to afford to buy tickets for this week :(

Hey guys I called the mexican embassy today since I live here in Mexico this is the number I call in case anybody wants to double check it themselfs 01 (55) 5724.7900 , I talk to a lady that works there and she told me that the embassy in Mexico is not on strike , there is a strike in Canada but they are still working on applications ....

Leisa check this website http://www.flightnetwork.com/ my husband always buys his plain tickets there and they are pretty cheap ! Maybe you find something cheaper and your husband could fly there asap !

that's good to hear! so they should still be sending out my husbands passport this week I hope!!

its just a very strict flight he has to take, it has to be at a certain time, through certain cities, with no layovers.
because of our dog having to fly cargo and the size of her.

I called today in the morning at work , first it made me chose a lenguage so I chose spanish then it gave me alot of options and I chose option 0 then it was a recording machine that said please wait in line someone is going to assist you then a lady answer the one and she said canadian embassy and I asked her if they were on strike and she said they are in Canada not in Mexico and even tho they are on strike they are working on applications but they are not on strike here in Mexico !
 
I´m gonna ask my mom to call too see what they tell her she lives here in Mexico too & I´m gonna get my mother in law to call too from Canada and ask about it !!

can someone please tell me what is the typical timeline for documents to be sent from Puebla to the Embassy in Mex city ? Thanks in advance.
