i dunno about a letter but i dont think so.

when you get the ppr you go there or send it and it comes back with a visa and copr lol.
i havent heard of anyone getting an actual approval letter though..

No they don´t send an approval letter. Just the PPR. Then you can either send it and they send it back with a visa stamped in your passport and the COPR. Or you can go and get those in person at the embassy. ;D

Ok I started a PGR Spreadheet to keep track of everyone at the step (since there are so many now, and potentially this will put us all in a pool waiting for approval ).

Anyone should be able to make changes, so feel free to change/add info.

I did give them my PGR on June 6, but then they asked me for the FBI police clearance a week later and that one was handed in on July 24. I've been waiting ever since.

I have been peacefully protesting for the past two weeks by letting my facial hair grow. My wife already gave me the ultimatum that I have to shave it when I get my PPR because she hates facial hair u__u, but in the meanwhile I'm growing a killer beard and Zorro-shaped mustache!

Me too.....my husband is always surprising me....from clean shaven....to a goatee....to full beard (yuck) to a chin strap (so so)!!! It's like everytime I go to visit him it's a new man!!! LOL

OMG mine did the chin strap too!! lol And the worst one was when he let the beard grow just on his neck.. but shaved the part on his face! Every picture he looks different.
