What are ADRs???
Additional Document Requests...can be anything from more info and further questions they are asking you to actually having to provide more documentation and sometimes just additional copies of documents you have already submitted. Don't know if they lose them or what!

We had to re-submit a copy of PAs new passport. It was renewed during the application process and I submitted it once through webform. They acknowledged receipt but for some reason wanted another copy and this one had to be translated into either English or French which seemed a little crazy since the only page they wanted was the one with personal info on it, so very little that needs translating there! o_O

first thing to ask - was it a legal connection? Under IATA rules any international connection requires a minimum of one hour and if you were allowed to book with less that time the airline is on the hook, regardless of how the ticket was purchased. Domestic flights have a minimum half hour connection time.
no offense but you just answered your own question. The airlines can’t legally book you when there is less time for connecting flights. So mistakes of that nature should they occur are the airlines fault.

Yes !!! The new laws kicked in recently and you should have been offered a better deal than an open ticket. Look into this ASAP as I think there is a window of time to make your claim

I’m not sure about which “new laws” you are talking about but the rules regarding legal and illegal connection times have been around for decades. As long as I’ve been a travel agent, dating to the early 1990s at least.

The new regulations that outline what passengers are entitled to when an airline makes mistakes (ie. missed connections) that negatively impact the passengers. The new regulations came out a couple weeks or so ago.

you are right but let’s see how it all plays out ;-)
Oh for sure , you never know with these airlines anyways . A family member of mine was recently delayed for over 9 hours and it’s like pulling teeth to get the airline to comply.
