It just so happened that I booked a flight to go visit and the interview is 2 days before I fly back home. Talk about crazy timing!
It was sent from the Same Mexico email address that the Aor came from. The attachment was a letter stating the date and all info with initials mvc.

Wow!!! Talk about lucky timing wise. Does it ask you to bring anything with you to interview or anything?

Wow, did you have any indication in any other correspondences that you were up for an interview? (GCMS notes? I think you didn't have access to GCKey account, right?) I wonder why some people were notified that they were in queue and not given a date, but with you they just gave you the interview date without notifying you first that you were in queue?

At least you will know in October probably what decision they will come to, so it is almost the end of the journey for you! Hope all goes well for you next month!

I will read it again to see what else it says. It says bring photos ( I think the passport kind) anything that we haven't submitted already like pictures and to bring passport.

I am not able to access gckey but I did call the automated line and it gives the brief info where it said interview not needed.
Last week the MPs office did answer back and say we were recommended for an interview. That was the only indication. I didn't order notes and have not heard a word from VO since they sent the official AOR2.
We are so nervous for the interview but at the same time so excited to know something.

They dont necessarily have to notify that you are in queue.... some vos dont. Others got notification by asking for updates directly from the vo.

We were sent an email requesting the RCMP fingerprinting in July (after I sent the VO an email asking if they wanted the document as that was what was indicated in my first set of GCMS notes back in March, but we never got the email) and it was never updated on GCKey account or eCAS. My feeling is that if we are asked to go for an interview, it won't show up in either place. I guess we will have to wait and be in the dark some more.

You have luck on your side to have timed your visit so that it coincides with your interview! Hopefully the luck won't stop there and by next month your interview will go well and you guys will be approved!

She had emailed the vo for an update and they told her she is in queue for an interview.

Yes, nothing seems to be consistent, which is really kind of frustrating, so I feel like it can go either way as to whether we get an interview. I already exhausted my options to find out our status with ordering GCMS notes and making an enquiry through my MP, so there is nothing else I can do now but wait (as usual) ...

No I have not started any pre-arrival for my wife. Do you have recommendations and unsure about which form you are talking about. Did it come with the passport and COPR. I'm not with my wife yet planning to travel with her and I guess I will see it then.

Hello. Our case have been received on july 28, 2016. I was approved in October as sponsor and it was send to mexico. On january 2017 they asked for 2 pictures and to pay permanent resident fee 490$. Since then we have not heard from them. We have small child. I gave birth alone here in canada. I went back to RD to visit my husband for 3 month. I am struggling here alone I need my husbands help. I do not know what to do. I has been 13 month and NOTHING. I have a dpression and 1 year old on my hands. I have no help.
