Mexico Visa Office Wait Time

We have been waiting to hear regarding my partners TRP application since August 2018!! 1.5 years!! Is this normal?? They used to answer me saying the application is still in queue to be reviewed but now they just dont answer anymore. I am so shocked it is taking this long and they have not started to procesd it yet??!

That is unusually long. In the Dominican Republic the VAC closed in 2018 and re-opened later. I think it was supposed to be a change of contractor but I saw the same employees at both. I think you need to contact IRCC directly to check on the status... maybe your local office also closed and your answer fell in-between.

Our TRP included a rehabilitation which would probably add time & we had a response in about 6 months. I really think you need to contact IRCC try using the Canadian line 1-888-242-2100
