hi,

good day, to all mercan applicants or have knowledge in twp.. i applied in mercan canada agency last May and they requested lot of documents including the embassy fee and pre-medical.. the documents were complete exactly JUNE 4 2012

position i am applying-
food counter attendant

my work experience-
service crew last 2005 (5 mos) end of contract
service crew last 2006 (3 mos) resigned
Office staff - 2010 - 2011 (5 mos)
manager in a fastfood april 2011 - present (15 mos) currently employed

i got all their qualifications except 18 mos working in a fastfood..
the 1st recruitment specialist said they will not credit my job experience last 2005 and 2006 as service crew, and other specialist told me that my past work expeirence will be credited, it means i am qualified for 18 months minimum requirements.

my questions:
1. Would Canada credit my past work experience?
then
2. if so, then how long will i wait for a employer or LMO
3. which would come first ??? an employer or LMO??

THANKS A LOT! Sorry guys for the questions, i am just not that familiar with the process to canada, but im trying to learn a lot from this site since yesterday! hope for your quick response !! :)

Hi,
if your applying as Food counter attendant...LMO says atleast high school grad. and no experienced required so for your experienced that you have mention ..your qualified already. Thanks. nag iinarte lng mga agency sa atin as long as you have atleast 1 yr. of fast food experience and my current job ka sa restaurant. cheers..goodluck.

Dami kasi na dedenied because lacking of experience. And not an expert. . Mahigpit sila sa experience. Gusto syempre sigurado sila sa applicant. At experienced applicant.

icoconsider kea ng canada un experience ko na nakastate sa itaas ? or they would not consider it as 18 months overall ?

Based on first hand experience from Mercan Canada, as far as i know, they are trusted by embassy in terms of recruiting/pooling QUALIFIED applicants. It means forwarding applicants to prospected clients who has exceeded minimum requirements. Of course the more work related experience to what position one's applying for, the more chance of GETTING AN EMPLOYER...but that doesn't stop there. Visa officers have patterns/set of questions to protect the interests of citizen in Canada. Meaning, you are not a liability to their government, you are not financially and medically demanding once you enter the country, and more. If you are under agency especially , under those trusted agencies like Mercan who is a well-renowned legal one, you are not going to burden errors/mistakes in complying with requirements needed because they scrutinize carefully the documents prior to applying for work permit.

to sheykivanuel,
