With Cgpa of 7.3 out of 10 and Ielts score of 7.5 overall ..... can i get admission in any of univ like ottawa , Windsor , Calgary , UNB, UOIT or any other....
Plz help guyz. Currently i am not having any Work Exp..........

Not any... not with that CGPA... but there are many schools which would most likely accept you. Look for admission requirements in different university webpages, some list a GPA of 3.5 as a minimum, some of 3.0 some of 3.7... so look for the one which suits best.

u can apply but u need good (305+) GRE score to get admitted in any of these. Though u can try windsor, its possibility is higher.
u can also apply to Regina, Winnipeg, Dalhousie (only internetworking program) and others.
But to get in any other univ. other than i mentioned above, u need good GRE and recommendation of any faculty member of dept where u r applying.

As u can see there is no time for GRE preparation.....I am looking for CUCA alberta also.
Do regina , UNB , Memorial foundland , Victoria also consider GRE....... I am not intrested in Networking area , can i get admission in Meng in electronics in above mention universities....

Each university and programs have different admission requirements. Visit their sites for the info you are looking for.

I got my GRE with math 720. When I applied to UoA I noticed they don't care about GRE... so I just wasted my time and money.... review the admission requirements.

yes u can get admitted in the mentioned univ. without GRE, but u need Distinction in BE/BTech along with 7.5bands in IELTS min.
GRE is just an extra asset to give ur application priority amongst other applicants. Though it is necessary for Top 5-7 univ. like toronto, UBC, Waterloo, Mcgill and so

You are being misguided here. GRE does n't really count. You can get admission in windsor, uoit and ottawa. However, chances are somewhat less for calgary and unb.

I agree, bt whn i searched i found that GRE is needed for ottawa and calgary univ.,
And GRE is all supportive aspect and the mandatory one (sorry if i didnt mention this), GRE just gives u edge over others and support if ur score is avg or bit low.

hi scott,
looking at ur scores, u seem to be good candidate for the universities, though it is hard to predict the result as canadian univ., unlike usa univ., follow "first come first" bases system though people with extra-ordinary scores (academic or GRE) may enhance their chances of acceptance.
U do have great scores, now its just 2 things that can highly increase ur approval are:
1. apply as early as possible, say before 7-8 months, and
2. contact (call/email) as many faculty members of ur desired dept. at that univ. (say, McGill) and ask them to supervise ur application and recommend u for that program.

The 2nd part may really play a boosting role in ur admission.

The only issue was I forgot to upload the "Area of Research and Student Profile" form so the Administrator contacted me twice, November 19th, and 28th, saying I need to upload the form. Since they messaged me through the McGill prospective student account messages section and not through email, I didn't read it until December 3rd. When I did, I uploaded it immediately. And so my current application status has been "In Review". Now I guess I have to do your second suggestion which is to email the preferred supervisors that I have declared on the application form as well. I really hope I get in, as I didn't attempt to apply to other universities.

My other worry is that McGill's admission site didn't have an "International Degree Equivalencies" guide for students who graduated from my country (The Philippines) and so I hope the conversion process won't pull down my grades. The 3.33/4.0 is based on my own computation, converting our grading system and credit hours to McGill's based on the courses offered and GPA conversion clues I have gathered from their website.

about the equivalence score, dont worry as they might already have a score criteria for each country. They dont need to convert it into GPA.
also email the MEng dept. for the information about ur application and also stay there the reason u uploaded their request bit late.
Try mailing 4-5 faculty professors to consider u under their surveillance and supervision.
And for which session did u apply for?
