Dear Members,
My profile goes as follow:
10th: 71.53%
12th: 68.64%
B.E. (I.T) : Aggregate degree of 64.36%
IELTS: 7.0 with no bands less than 6.0
Work Exp: 2.3yrs as a Software Tester
Earlier, i was planning for a Masters program (MBA or Global MBA to be precise and not MIS or MSc or Masters in I.T). However, considering the classes' average age being 28yrs (me being 25), the management work experience of the Alumni's on LinkedIn before they got admitted to any University for MBA or Global MBA, i now plan to pursue the same after getting an exposure into some Management work, with relevant years, developing a business knowledge rather than a technical one.
A. Is my decision right if i say my interest is inclined more towards management than technical?
However, in the mean time before gaining some Management experience for an MBA or Global MBA, i have applied to the following two 1 year graduate certificate courses with a thought of not loosing my technical side all of a sudden and gain some Canadian work experience as well:
1. Business Intelligence System Infrastructure with optional Co-op (Algonquin College) and
2. Big Data Analytics (Georgian College)
B. Does any member here have any idea about these two colleges (chose after examining the KPI) and the courses being future-proof or not?
C. Does Ontario have enough opportunities for I.T. professionals? Is it so hard to get a job in the one year work permit duration?
D. How is Ontario as a place for students?
C. Is there anything called Co-op Work Permit? If yes, whats the difference between a Co-op work permit and regular work permit? Should these be applied separately by a student?
Thanks a lot for your time reading this out. Have a great day ahead
