'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

@fwakeel- dont worry, as you are in dubai you will get passport soon because for other gulf countries, it comes to uae first then distributed, so for you at least that much time is saved.

have sent my passports, now waiting and worrying- God bless us all!

One nov 07 applicant was told officially that chc London will give full time on post feb 2008 applicant and 2007 finalization will be delayed till 2012 !!!!!!

Today 9:00 Am, we received our passports back with Visa's stamped on them; Alhamdulillah. We had applied in feburary, 2007 and finally sent out passports in Jan and they received it on Jan, 14th. Because of the fact that we are parents of a child with learning disabilities, we had more than our share of anxious moments.

I like to thank one and all for the encouragement, support and guidance extended. I particularly wish to thank Senior members of this August Forum such Leon, Maaties, PMM, Qorax, Saki and others who were extremely encouraging and compassionate with us.

Hearty Congrats Mirza!!! Our Passports reached London on 24th Jan and hope (as per your experience) we will receive our Passports back on 12th!!!

Mirza, Congratulation. Can you please tell mewhen you had your medical done? I am also 2007 applicant. My medical was done in Nov 2010. My status shows they have received my medical. Should I expect my PPR soon?

Hello guyz,,

I applied in FSW while i was in bristol,UK then i left UK for good and came back to pak in July ,10 and had medical done in oct,10 in pak but i did'nt inform CHC about my address change, because all the communication was being done through by my consultant.... now im waiting for my PPR,,, would it make any difference??

Hi, you can always confirm from the CHC about your PPR by sending them case specific query.
No need to panic mate, still applicants who's medical is done in Oct end have not yet started receiving PPR.

What happen if PPR lost and no record in eCAS ? Shall I receive a Warning Email or something ? What is usually the practice if the embassy sends the PPR and it is lost ? Shall the embassy try to contact the person in a specific period of time ?

Just to share my experience, VO London sent me the PPR by mail on 30th DEC 2010, till today I haven't received the letter. I only got to know about it when the replied to my query in regards to my PPR request, so there is a chance that mail is either delayed or gets lost. However if you sent your medicals in OCT, then wait till the end of FEB then send them a case specific enquiry.I have no idea if they try to contact the person or send them a warning e-mail. Good Luck

As far I see from this forum that even applicants with medical sent on Sept haven't yet received their PPR. Honestly, I don't understand the order they follow in reviewing the applications. I don't feel there is a consistency in that.

No, they dont .So Just for the safe side, be in regular touch with the CHC through emails.

Hi fellows
My med done in nov.I also send additional documents requested in dec.
On 3rd feb,London chc send me a mail that they didn,t get any of my doc and i have to resend these all.I send them tcs tracking no showing doc delivered,fax and email them.
Fortunately, next day I got an email from them that they got my parcel and I dont have to resend anything.According to them my file is under routine background check.
When i can expect PPR?
for those whose files r shifted to London from Isl,where they have to send their passports?
